​@Ale Rum They'd probably deny it entirely and maybe even contemplate terminating your insurance contract as a whole because even asking about insuring a teenager in a Charon would probably send an insane amount of red flags flying and drastically increase the risk level of insuring you because that raises the chances of you letting the teenager drive the car anyways and then claiming you were driving.

I mean the monthly premiums for this kid, at only 17 and driving a 1500 horsepower sportscar to impress peers, I mean just the monthly auto insurance rates would be in the tens of thousands $$$. All jokes aside, though, in actuality, LITERALLY *NO INSURANCE* agency would E-V-E-R agree to insure a 17+ year old for a vehicle ANYTHING like that Charon. It's just not going to happen IRL..Period. No insurer is that batshit insane and irresponsible with their money.

Bugatti tries to keep their cars as modern as possible for as long as possible, the Chiron doesn't have screens because in 7 years or so you can obviously see that the screen is outdated

That kid was driving a gentle giant in an urban area and yet still in control of himself as well as the car because he 's such a humble lad . The instructor knew this kid respect the car as well as the passenger on the road.

I took my driver's test in a 2020 Tesla Model 3 and I was terrified to drive that car so I can't imagine driving a Chiron, that's at least 80x as expensive as the Model 3.

I love this car it’s so beautiful it’s truly a goal of mine to own one

Passed my test in a stage 3 1 series examiner asked how the hell I got 300hp out of a 116i but said my suspension will shatter his back if we go over a speed bump 😂

One day I will actually get to drive or even ride in one of those cars

My driving test was actually integrated into my behind-the-wheel time, so there was never a defined time. But for it I drove the driving test company’s 2018 Nissan Leaf.

Kid actually seems really nice and respectable. Glad he got to experience this.

Wouldn't trade my being fully licensed at 15 for the chance to take any on-road driving test in an expensive car at any age greater than 15 for nothing. Being licensed meant being out of the house, and on the road. It meant Freedom, and freedom couldn't wait back then.

@C B also, in turbo cars, a faster big turbo car takes longer to spool so its throttle response won’t be as touchy as a smaller turbo car.

When he passed he should have asked the instructor lady "Now would you like a real ride in a Chiron?"

I drove my moms c350 Mercedes’ for my test….my mans took it next level

I just failed my test today so this just adds more salt to the wound

That instructor had no idea she was riding in one of the fastest and most expensive street legal vehicles

@penis man We do. In a test video Bugatti did with the Chiron SuperSport 300+ it hit 304 mph and it is fully street legal. It isn't quite 336 but close enough. Noones ever gonna do 300 mph on any public road but you could if you own one of these cars.

I did my Driver's Test in a Chevy Spark 2015. A Manual Transmission car. The USA Driver's Test must be the easiest I've seen. Here in my country Namibia, the Driver's Test consists of two tests parts that must be completed and passed; 1, the Yard Test which consists of a) Three-Point Turn, b) Parallel Reverse Parking, c) Reverse Parking, and, d) Hill Start- you basically have to move uphill using the Petrol pedal, Clutch pedal, and Hand brake. The car must not stall/die on you and Not Roll back. The second part of the driver's test is the Road Test where you drive to town.

I took my driver's test in a 1974 Ford Pinto in 1976, lol.

I drove a 1989 golf gti mk2 first, right after getting my license i got a 2016 volkswagen scirocco, i still have the gti, hoping to fix it soon, that will be some nostalgia once i get behind that wheel again, it made horrible belt slipping noises. That stuff was music to my ears 🤩

I will be taking my test in an Mercedes A45S. In the UK you need to be 17 to start to drive :)
