Honestly papa strads v12 is a stunning car and one of my favourite cars in the world. Also I was thinking maybe a Ferrari 812 I know it’s gone really pricey but it’s worth it highly recommend and reconsidering keep doing what you do I bet your Dad is proud of you god bless you and your family

Used to work in the granite industry, granite you get one of a kind grain structure no one else will have, quartz is customizable since it’s manufactured. Quartz is a little more expensive than granite, but it’s not near as porous as granite so much easier to clean and take care of during cooking. It’s also much stronger than granite.

Afternoon James, I’ve been a kitchen designer for 21 years, for your question regarding quartz vs granite, not much between them really, quartz needs less care to keep it looking good, Granite is porous and and stains easier so will need to be re-sealed each year, cheap quartz can also stain but good quality quartz will not stain as easy fella

For a drift car, I’d say a foxbody, they have so many possibilities to do, and are skyrocketing in value. You can drag race, drift, and daily drive depending on what you want.

So for the counters I recommend Quartz for the counter tops, and for the car please get the FF it’s such a cool car

Definitely go with quartz. Much lower maintenance than a porous natural stone like granite. Also, quartz is an engineered surface, so the whole slab will be uniform. With any natural stone, each slab will be different and can have significant variations from one slab to the next.

Those new engines in the g8x's are insane. Some tuners are pushing over 1000hp on stock internals. It would make for some awesome content

Normally internals that fail first (long before the block) are piston rods, bearings, piston heads, and the crank shaft. When people replace these parts with forged internals that can handle more power, that's called "building the motor."

James they make an AWD version of the new M3/4. Would love to see you have one. You can put the AWD in RWD mode. The tuning potential is absolutely insane on them. A downpipe and tune on E85 will run 9.x in the 1/4. Insane

For your countertops man there are so many choices now! I have always been a big fan of Marble countertops if the rest of the kitchen suits it but you can get everything from Butcher block, to copper, to Stainless Steel. It all depends on what your looking for. For a kitchen I would go with either Granite or Marble. You get people saying use quartz because granite is porous LOL. All stone countertops require periodical maintenance which is no big deal. Just a coat of sealer twice a year. I have granite and have never in 10 years had any issues. If I am gonna cut up some raw steak I always cut on a cutting board anyways. Would be kind of stupid to cut it directly on the Granite! If that was my house oh man the ideas I have. I would go absolutely nuts designing the ultimate workshop! I would make all the workbench counters from stainless steel and tig weld everything to perfection. It would look almost like a big industrial kitchen except the drawers would be full of automotive tools and supplies. I would also install an all wheel drive chassis dyno into the ground so slammed cars can drive on easily. Then you gotta build an engine assembly room with an engine dyno too right?

Granite you have to seal yearly and you can’t put anything hot on it or it’ll crack. Quartz is better, but it’s really expensive and it’s not really very environmentally friendly. Silestone is a good mix of both, it can withstand high temperatures, it’s environmentally friendly, it’s got a wide variety of colors and it can even look and feel like marble if you want. It’s also way cheaper than quartz

I'd definitely go for quartz countertops, bright white is such a striking colour especially for kitchens. One downside for this is it gets dirty quick but luckily they are stain resistant of course. Granite would be cool but quartz would stand out a lot more.

You should 100% go for quartz bc it's easy to maintain and you should definitely go GTC4Lusso it's clean and it's a V12

Go with quartz 1000% I’ve had both and granite needs maintenance and quartz need very little to no maintenance plus quartz looks soooooooo much better 😂

Don't get granite work tops. Forever breaking things when you place them on the surface. Only positive thing with granite is it's heat resistant

If I’m being honest either save a little and get the super fast or j get an m3 or m4 and tune it. You can get some crazy numbers even with stock internals.

the m3/4 would be the best addition to your garage!

Quartz is the way to go. Granite high maintenance and it has to be sealed regularly or it will stain.

use quartzite, its what quartz counters are made from (theyre made from ground up quartzite slabs and reglued together) and you can get quartzite in full slabs

Quartz or granite? It depends on the rest of the design/decor. Many people match design/decor within a room. A true luxury mansion (estate) will match design/decor THROUGHOUT the house. That doesn't mean that it is exactly the same in all rooms. It means that certain elements continue from one room or area to the next lending a continuity of form/function throughout the house...unity. My TX estate is like that. There is a theme that pervades the house...like oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, similar gas exterior lamps for lighting, a wood free-standing spiral staircase, wood wall paneling, frescoed ceilings, coffered ceilings, vaulted and paneled bedroom ceilings, all the way to the interior lighting and fans and the gas fireplaces. Being more traditional, the kitchen countertops and both bar's countertops are granite. Quartz would look completely out of place. So, if you are doing a modern design, then go with quartz. If you want more traditional and/or ornate luxury style, then go with granite. Modern design --> LA spec homes with clean white walls and no ornamentation/decorations. Traditional design --> just about everything else.
